The Cross

Imagine wandering through the forest and suddenly there is this big glowing cross... Could it be the path to salvation? Or is it something else?


Last week, I was in Houston for a few days (for work). To get to our hotel south of the city, we had to drive by downtown Houston. It was already night and all the buildings were lit, looking big and not really welcoming. Then we went round a bend and I could see this huge cross on the side of a building, glowing in the dark. It didn't look all that welcoming either with its neon glow, but it stuck in my mind... and here we are.
