Eve's Temptation

Description

According to the Bible, a snake tempted Eve into into eating an apple from the Tree of Knowledge and into giving Adam some as well. For this disobedience, God expelled all humans from paradise, but the Knowlegde of Good and Evil stayed with them.

"No, you won't [die]!" the snake replied. "God understands what will happen on the day you eat fruit from that tree. You will see what you have done, and you will know the difference between right and wrong, just as God does." ~ Genesis 3:4,5

:bulletred: I do NOT want to start a religious discussion here! I know technically Eve should be naked or covered with fig leaves instead of cloth. Call it artistic license.

:bulletblue: Details can be found here!

Fig leaves were a puritanical religious thing introduced after the fall.

Sorry; don't mean to start that religious discussion you didn't want, but works treating a religious subject make it pretty much inevitable. No need to respond in any way: I was drawn to state the fact you already asserted, but when I saw that you mentioned fig leaves, the church was very big on those. Don't recall offhand if the leaves they covered themselves with after eating the fruit were of a particular type.

Again, sorry if I rained on your parade.
