Overall I think that you have succeeded to send the message you wanted. Although ...some details are missing from the dragon...I think that makes it even more interesting. It somehow looks as if...the dragon is some sort of magic statue...or that it comes to life right now, as the man there...wants to animate it.
I also love the details that come out from the light of the fire as well as what wee can see out the window.
To me..your work looks more like an image from a game...and if it was...which I think is awesome..
