I've been meaning to do something with muted colours for ages now but always got sidetracked by, well, adding colours

Today I stumbled over an image I took at the Ehebrunnen in Nürnberg in July. It's a really big sculpture by Jürgen Weber showing the different stages of marriage as inspired by a poem by Hans Sachs. The part I used here is probably showing how the two partners can drive each other so mad they'd like to kill one another.

I would like to dedicate this to `J-u-d-a-s whose b/w works are stunning and have heavily influenced this image

And a big thank you goes to ~frisbii for reminding me that I have tons of stock lying about unused

I like the composition and perspective, as you look at this one, you get the impression that they are about to fall down though they're statues. Also the concept is great, mixing macabre and horror mood with this grotesque sculpture was an excellent idea.
