Sorry, no fancy title with great analogies or song lyrics or poems this time...
Everything I found that would've fitted somewhat was just way to negative for my taste.
Although you are free to interpret this as a woman drowning, I prefer something more hopeful. I like to view this as being at ease with everything - especially with things you cannot change (like in my case coming out of an exam knowing it sucked big time). I know I like to make that point in most of my deviations, but I can't help it: again, I feel like you need to not only see the water that floods you and might drag you down, but also the buoyant force making you float and giving you the opportunity to look at something outside of your day to day life, like the sky with the clouds and stars... There sure is more to life than the momentary failure, more than the struggle to succeed at your job. There are also the little things, like watching a sunset with your loved one or enjoying a good meal or whatever rocks your boat
Credits go to *mizzd-stock for the wonderful lady and ~Stock-of-Beauty for the pictures of the lake. The rest was from my own stash.
PS: Print will follow soon, though it will have white borders to the left and right as dA doesn't have panoramic print aspect ratios.
I adore this so much. I love the fact that you can easily interpret this as a woman who has perhaps drowned and is now moving on to the next existence. Or a woman who knows what love and peace is and simply celebrates in her own way. Either way she's beautiful. The only thing I even see remotely jarring is that she isn't casting a shadow below her. Otherwise this is practically perfect!!!!
