The Artist has so many ideas... sometimes they come all at once and it is difficult to choose what to do first. Sometimes there's just one thing the Artist desperately wants to achieve but can't (the dreaded artist's block). Some blocks need to be forced away (try and try and try until it works out), some have to be waited out... But once the creativity and the flow comes back, the Artist is happy again
This was my way to force some artist's block away - at least temporarily.
First of all, I truly admire how you combine things and make everything look so effortlessly. Everything looks incredibly smooth, like it was supposed to be in its place without your doing so - I love that. In this piece you have combined so many different things, but the combination of them all makes sense. There's really only two things I'd like to point out that I'm not too fond of (technically, I don't think there's anything I could tell you to do better). Personally I don't like the violet eyeshadow. It looks good here on the critique page, but when full-viewing this deviation it really stands out and looks unnatural. It kind of breaks up the flow of the rest of the piece. Also, I think there could be just a bit more space on the left and right. Right now, the subject looks a little jammed. Other than those two minor things, this is really beautiful and I hope it helped you overcome your creative block!
Wow, that's beautiful! The hummingbird and the floral pattern in the background fits REALLY good! Also the writing at the bottom of the picture and the blooming brush, that gives the impression of fantasy and pure inspiration... ~♥! I don't think that you should have left more room on the left and right side, I think it looks good this way, makes the picture somewhat... unseizable The purple cheers the picture a little, I like it!!
