I'm turning on the Critique Feature because I want to know what you think about this one. I want to get a grip on where I am and where I'm going so to speak and especially on what I can improve on in the future. Thank you in advance :heart:

The first thing that I noticed with this piece was the complete lack of anything to really catch your eye. Everything, even though it has slightly different hues, blends together. I like the layers of the rocks and the architecture, I even like the brushing it looks like you've done.

I'd have to say though that I would like it better if you used a wolf that was of a slightly darker color. Perhaps not white at all but a gray or black, something that would draw us in. If that is not the intended focus it doesn't read well this way at all.

I do like the general feel of this piece, it has a peaceful yet curious manner to it. To me it feels as if it was pulled from a dream, well done.

This will be short and sweet..
I Love your color choices and the over all ethereal vibe of the piece. As much as I feel you want the wolf to be the focus I think the foreground needs more pop. A perspective thing, I realize also it's fantasy ;) but it teh first thing I noticed looking at it. The rocks are just as 'washed out' as the BG with misty fog stuff (technical terminology there) and the wolf who is center ground has much more contrast and. That said.. beautiful ethereal, moving piece. I want him to be waiting for me!!

Very nice work! A couple things that I notice are that the wolf's contrast seems to stand out more than his surroundings, and that his front legs look as if they are up on an invisable rock rather than being in tune with the slope of the surface upon which he is standing.
