New York does that, you get used to how tall the buildings are after a bit.

Every time I'm in the city I like staring at the tourists. They're the ones looking up all the time. It's so cute.

I remember what a friend who lives there told me...that the buildings are so high, the streets are always in the dark, is it true? the photo does look that way.

Hoping to see more photography from you!

pretty much I guess - though when we were there we had sunshine and all, there's always harsh shadows from the buildings. But you don't notice it so much cos as a tourist, you're constantly looking up anyways :giggle:

just be sure to take your time - the city is hectic enough without oneself adding to it ;)

This is a nice enough image - and I know its to project how small one is when they visit large cities - but with photos where there is seriously strong contrast - dark buildings/blue sky, you can always take two images and then merge them together so you get details of the building and the pretty sky too...

I'm no photographer, I use a point and shoot camera - when I upload pictures, I upload them because I love what I see and mostly because there's memory in it. This one came out this way - I didn't use color balance or levels or anything else because I think it's nice the way it is. The "feeling small"-part was me in that city, if others just see the building, that's fine with me.
Thank you for your comment, but for me, some pictures just don't need to be messed with.
