Mercury was the messenger of the Roman gods. The wings on his helmet and sandals allowed him to travel very quickly to wherever a god might send him. He was the god of travellers and tradesmen.
The idea to this was a strange one... I was thinking "what could I do next?... should probably steer clear of butterflies and flowers, I use these so much" And then I thought "but why exactly should I not use a butterfly, when I love that pic?!" Then I saw some wonderful canvas textures at *nighty-stock and the rest is a blur  Stock used: *nighty-stock, sxc.hu and my own. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
